Career Opportunity: Assistant – Marketing & Communications (6-month contract)
LF Sourcing, an Operating Group of Li & Fung (Trading) Ltd., is looking for energetic and creative candidates for the position of Assistant – Marketing & Communications (Temporary – 6 months).
Reporting into the Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications, the ideal candidate will be a part of the Executive Office and responsible for LF Sourcing’s marketing and communications scope of over 6000 associates located in over 20+ countries.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist the manager for all marketing & communication materials including but not limited to all business development initiatives, market analysis and reporting
- Support writing, design and work with internal designers for all internal and external marketing materials and collaterals such as presentations, corporate videos, newsletters, brochures, sourcing reports, etc
- Supporting all event management and logistics such as senior management meetings, conferences and vendor summits
- Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Executive Office
Key Stakeholders:
- Internal: Executive Office, President & Executive Directors, Operations, Product Development Teams, Corporate Communications & Design Team, Investor Relations
- External: Production houses, vendors, venues, hotels, catering companies, printing houses
Characteristics:
- Energetic and creative team player who has an appreciation for aesthetics, fashion and design
- Excellent communications, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Team player, mature and professional
- Organized, detail-oriented and ability to multitask and under tight deadlines
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public/Media Relations, Journalism or related field
- Marketing, communications, PR or related experience is definitely an advantage
- Fluent native English speaker with proficient writing skills; Cantonese/Mandarin spoken and written proficiency a plus
- Proficient with Apple software and design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator is a plus
